O'Quin, a native of Dallas, hit the scene in 2001 and scored with a smash song, "I Told The Storm." It captured the people's hearts and emotions as it told the story of resilience and survival. That song went on to be a Top 10 song in 2001 and garnered O'Quin several Dove and Stellar Award nominations.
