In our everyday lives we take so much for granted when things are going well. With the economy as it is today, so many people tremble as they dress for work. They look at their families, pastors and friends for support, but there are still so many others who feel totally alone.
So many of us look to our pastors on Sunday to speak a word of hope to us that will carry us until the end of the next week. In the book of Genesis, we read about the creation of the world and all of the preparations that were made for the introduction of man. God knew us and he prepared a place for us to reside in that had all of the comforts man could possibly hope for. I know that life is a journey and many men of God has tried to prepare one generation after another for the knowledge of the word of God and and also teach them how to live in the world as a believer.
In the struggles of today, many believers can call on those they worship with to pray for them and encourage them. Although we struggle we know that as children of God, we are never alone. Seeking help is seeking answers to be able to live through a struggle that when said out loud brings hope.
Having faith is knowing that you will overcome and knowing that God has not left you. You know that through prayer you will be able to endure knowing that there is hope for you and your family.
I am here as a believer and because of that belief God brought me through a terrible ordeal. He never left me alone. I encourage you to never let go of your faith ...

In the times of trouble, it is difficult to believe that all the pain will end. But it is stated that, this too shall pass. In the passing of the trials and pain, we celebrate and we feel as if we are born again. Life is full of ups and downs. I discovered long ago the importance of having someone to turn to. I knew an old lady that would say to me; "Just think about picking up the phone and calling me when times gets tough. Leave a message for me and I will pray for you." Every now and then we would talk, but most of the time I just left a message. It didn't matter to me that she heard it or not. What mattered is what I knew about our friendship. That is how it is when I pray. I pray ... get up off of my knees and I leave my message for my Lord and Saviour. Now so many young people call on me and leave messages. They say; "Heart Mother, you don't need to call me back, because I know you will pray for me and leave a message for Jesus!" Now I am the reciever and I am trusted to deliver and I am called a Prayer Warrior. One young lady that I call my Heart Daughter came to Birmingham, Alabama to hear me speak. She is a very young and beautiful cancer survivor. I used to talk to her and sing to her when she was hospitalized. She brought pictures to testify to her treacherous journey and her wonderful recovery. Without those photos, you would not have believed she suffered so. She was there to show me how much she loved me.
ReplyDeleteI am here to say ... He hears your prayer, even when you trust someone else to get on their knees for you when times gets too hard.
He is listening!!!
